Flavone Glycosides from the leaves of Salix gilgiana(Ⅱ)

Abstract

|
For the investigation medicinal resources for Salix species, previosely we published the constituents ((+)-catechin, 1-O-p-coumaroylglucoside, 1-O-feruloylglucoside and p-hydroxy-acetophenone glucoside) from water fraction of the bark in Salix gilgiana(Salicaceae). This studies were carried out to evaluate the constituents in the leaves of same plant which have been used as anti-inflammation, analgesic and diuretic agents in Korea.
From the water fracion of the MeOH exgtract, luteolin-7-O-β-D-glucuronopyranoside and luteolin-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside were isolated by colujmn chromatographic separation using Amberlite XAD-2, ODS-gel and Sephadex LH-20. The structure of these compounds were elucidated by physico-chemical evidence(IR, MS, ^1H-NMR, ^13C-NMR) and by comparison with authentic samples.
